About Me
Tanzeela Sadiq
Supporting doctors, lawyers, and other high-achieving professionals to move from burnout to balance — with warmth, evidence-based care, and deep respect for what you carry. My telehealth practice welcomes clients across Australia and Ontario, Canada.

Welcome
I’m Tanzeela Sadiq, a Senior Clinical Psychologist registered in Australia (AHPRA) and a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, Canada (CRPO). Over the past 14+ years, I’ve walked alongside people through some of life’s most demanding chapters — and I’d be honoured to walk alongside you too.
Who I Support
Much of my work is with helping professionals whose lives are built around caring for and serving others:
These are often highly capable, deeply committed individuals who are carrying far more than others realise. Behind the competence and composure, something quieter is often happening — a growing sense of exhaustion that rest doesn’t fix, a relentless inner pressure to keep achieving, a voice that questions whether you’re doing enough or being enough.
If any of this resonates with you, you’re not alone. And it doesn’t have to stay this way.
I help clients move from burnout to balance, creating lives that honour both ambition and wellbeing.
My Approach
I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to understand themselves more deeply, rather than being pushed to simply cope better.
Many of the professionals I work with do not meet the criteria for a psychological disorder. Instead, they seek support to strengthen resilience, build on their existing strengths, navigate professional challenges, and create lives in which they can genuinely enjoy the success they have worked so hard to achieve.
For others, therapy becomes an opportunity to understand how longstanding patterns rooted in childhood trauma continue to shape their personal and professional lives. Often, what appears to be perfectionism, burnout, or self-doubt has deeper origins that deserve compassionate exploration.
I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Schema Therapy and EMDR, tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs and goals because effective therapy is never one-size-fits-all.
Together, we work to swap fear for confidence — building a career and a life that support one another, instead of one consuming the other.
A Note From Me
I understand the unique pressures that come with professions built on responsibility and service. The expectation to keep going, keep performing, and hold everything together can leave little room to care for yourself.
I believe that every person—no matter how strong, capable, or accomplished—deserves a space where they can be authentically vulnerable, genuinely supported, and reminded that their worth extends beyond what they do for others.
Let’s Work Together
If you’re unsure whether working together is the right fit, I invite you to reach out. Sometimes, the first step is simply having a conversation.
